Despite all the disgrace, environmental and public health consequences, the photo looks beautiful.
It’s like a partial eclipse.
it’s in a sad situation Michael but what a great photo that you captured of it….peter:)
Beauty out of utter chaos, Michael
Exactly what the others have already said. When the Phoenix rises from the ashes.
Some people have been evacuated that the Phoenix gets a little tired. 🙂 We still have PTSD from being evacuated four years ago. Each lightning storm brings a lot of stress. My heart gets ripped out each time I see fires around the world on the news.
So sad to see, Michael. Don’t get me wrong, I love the picture, but I know how the smoke affects you. Even my brother on Vancouver Island mentioned it to me yesterday.
I hope the wind/rain? makes a quick end to this awful situation.
So much of North America is burning that it is overwhelming. In fact, all around the world. Four years ago we were evacuated for three weeks so we have a lot of empathy for those evacuated this years.
