Shot with Ilford XP1 in the early 80s. It was a miracle film.
A Moment in Photographic History:
Bert Hardy was born in London on May 19, 1913. He started as a laboratory assistant but soon bought a small plate camera for 10 shillings. His photographs were soon being published. Hardy accompanied the Allied troops that took part in the D-Day landings in June 1944. He also photographed the liberation of Paris on 25th August and documented the plight of concentration camp victims.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
It never seemed like work. Photography was always good fun. – - – - – - – Bert Hardy
