Consuelo Kanaga, who died February 28 1978, had a sixty year career in photography. She was included in several important exhibitions such as the 1932 Group f.64 exhibition in San Francisco with such notables as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Imogen Cunningham, and Edward Steichen.

Don’t you love how the withered and dry leaves hang on till the spring buds force them to let go! It one thing about Nature that still astounds me, Michael. Beautiful image of strength and tenacity.
