Fascinated

I don’t like barbed wire but I seem to be photographically fascinated by it.

Great detail, I can see tiny little bumps on the wire. Maybe it’s cold there. Our high here today was 26. Bumps are popping up all over.

Great landscape ! I read something like the capability of a human to focus on small things instead of look on the beauty of the nature.

The unusual that attract us (photographers) isn’t always beautiful…this is striking, I see this and I see concentration camp, not pretty, but certainly impactful

I like the sharp focus on the barb. I’ve gotten hung up too many times trying to slip through a barbed wire fence! A fine image with enough detail in the blur so we can understand the background. Very well done.

great tilted angle of the wire with the straight out of focus horizon.

the texture of the barb i can feel… those little flakes of metal that seem to be just hanging off… i like these images… and like you am not so sure why…
perhaps it’s something to do with the abstracting of the image… that it’s separating… but what exactly is separated or kept out is just in the mind for now… the potential for the wire to be more actively used and employed is frightening, dangerous, and mysterious… for me anyways…

I am fascinated too by barbed wire Michael. What I like here is the freedom feel that we have on the other side of it!
