Sunrise On an Idiot

The interesting thing about this shot is that I have it. After a walk on Scout Island, we went for coffee. I must have lost my mind in Colette Amelia’s deep philosophical conversation because I walked out of the Bean Counter without the trusty Canon 5D. Never realised it until we got home.

Love the texture on the water and the overall limited tones that simply glow.

You obviously aren’t an idiot because this is one of the most beautiful photos I’ve seen. How much was/is that camera worth, anyway? Aren’t you glad there are honest people in the world?
I’ll tell you what a real idiot is: A woman who can’t remember her husband’s name.
