Water

Water, water, every where,
And all the boards did shrink ;
Water, water, every where,
Nor any drop to drink.
from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge
It is Theme Thursday again. I suppose everyone will hop on Coleridge’s bandwagon.

Your photograph is spectacular. I can almost feel it rushing between my toes (or hands).
As far as I’m concerned, you can never have enough Coleridge.

Whoa! The site opened and I feel into the water! Thanks for the dip. My first thoughts: wild, wet, cold, untamed. Great!

You are the only one I’ve encountered who used the quote. You are unique! lovey oyster-y looking water.

I can hear the roar of the water and smell the salt in the air. That is a fantastic picture.
I remember learning that ode when I was in the eigth grade many many many decades ago.

Good shot, Michael. I’m always held in thrall by water passing over rocks.

I too had to memorize that poem. This was a great picture, to capture the water and make it feel like it is moving. Thank you.
