If you have seen my other blogs you will know that I am having some angst over my old ‘puter which seems to be acting like a food processor and churning some of my photo files like they are so many vegetables ready for the soup pot. I am afraid to open any decent shot until I solve the problem.

Samuel Dunseith McKellen died December 26, 1906. Now who was he? Well, the next time you connect your camera to a tripod think about good old Sam because in 1884 he patented that little threaded hole in the bottom of camera which allow connection to tripods.
