My photographs are not planned or composed in advance and I do not anticipate that the onlooker will share my viewpoint. However, I feel that if my photograph leaves an image on his mind–something has been accomplished.

Mr Rawluk, what can I say, but thank you so much.
Firstly for a wonderful photograph that is so special to me, because it was my beloved mother in law’s favourite place during the five beautiful years she lived in Sidney prior to her sad passing.
Pat and I spend many happy times here every time we come ‘home’ to the country we love so much, and you’ve done the scene proud.
Secondly for the kind mention and link.
You’ve made my day, you are a gentleman, sir

What an excellent view of the pier. Your vantage point seems to accentuate the distance from the shore. Nice shot.

Mysterious scene: quiet, silence, loneliness…only I and my thoughts…

‘am at an unfamiliar keyboard so typing is stressful.
This is just beautiful. I cannot imagine the peaceful feeling you might get at the end of the pier. I followed the link and that island was whispering peace to me too.
Thank you for both,
