On the Log
A Moment in Photographic History:
On November 2, 1903 Alfred Harmsworth founded a “Woman’s Paper” called the London Daily Mirror which was the first newspaper to use photography exclusively for its illustrations.

A Photographic Quote of Note:
The camera for an artist is just another tool. It is no more mechanical than a violin if you analyze it. Beyond the rudiments, it is up to the artist to create art, not the camera.

What an awesome capture at the perfect moment! Love the silhouettes doing the balancing act on the rock. Wonderful composition with the sunlit ocean backdrop.

This is one of those motivational/inspirational posters, Michael. I find myself wanting to straighten the horizon but apart from that, I could see this hanging on the wall anywhere!

I trust you DID get the next shots Michael, as they lost their footing and slid gracefully into the icy water ha ha
A very neat photograph, with wonderful silhouettes and a sense of fun

Nicely framed and great silhouettes. The shimmering details of the water add a magical touch to the shot.
