A Moment in Photographic History:
French photographer Jean Dieuzaide died in Toulouse, France on September 18, 2003. He created the Municipal Gallery of the Castle-d’Eau inToulouse, the first permanent gallery of photography in France. It was located in an old water tower dating from 1824 which had supplied water to the fountains of Toulouse.
