Summer’s Last Gasp
A Moment in Photographic History:
On September 8, 1855 James Clerk Maxwell announced the principle of tri-chromatic colour photography.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

I agree, lovely and the back-up singer isn’t bad, either. But… let’s not talk about Summer having it’s last gasp. Let’s talk nothing about it until December 21st when you can say, Ah-hah! Summer is on it’s way tomorrow!

Yes, I love this Michael – the title and the beautiful soft photo of a flower soon to change in the cycles of life.

Lovely title! It’s funny, this does seem to be the last flower that hangs on and blooms late summer. Glorious yellow glow! Makes me a bit sad about the approaching winter.
