Slipping Sun
A Moment in Photographic History:
Franco-Luxembourgian physicist and inventor Gabriel Jonas Lippmann was born August 16, 1845. In 1908, Lippmanm was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his colour photographic plate which used light wave interference which is kind of like what causes the colours in soap bubbles.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
I have a camera and I’m not afraid to use it.

Gosh the texture of the wood and the smooth silhouette are a wonderful contrast. Am really enjoying your last few photos Michael!

Like the lighting effect and the tones of this image, brings out the details and contrasts very well. Outstanding capture.

Cool dark image. The shadows and the details in the wood make it a really nice image.
