The Valley
A Moment in Photographic History:
Photographer Arnold Genthe died August 9, 1942. He is best known for his photographs of San Francisco’s Chinatown and the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. It is also thought that his photographs are to only known to have survived showing San Francisco as it was before the earthquake.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
Remember… light is your crayon, and there’s always another color in the box.
