A Moment in Photographic History:
John Gutmann, who died June 12 1998, was a German-born  photographer. He took a special interest in the United States Jazz scene producing many memorable photographs. He also developed a unique style of shooting from a worm’s eye view.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
The camera sees more than the eye, so why not make use of it?

  10. If I look close, I can see the ghosts, bustling around, perhaps staring out the window, thinking the days work is overwhelming. Or, at the end of the day, leaning back in that c reaking old chair, sighing with satisfaction.
