The Four Sisters

The Four Sisters are four enormous cedar trees and I got to stand in the middle of the family group. What a priviledge.
A Moment in Photographic History:
Fritz Henle was born in Dortmund, Germany on 9 June 1909. He was a very prolific photographer with a wonderful sense of style. Called “the last of the great classic photographers,” Henle used a Rolleiflex camera and was called “Mr. Rollei.” There is something about the square negative the cries out to be looked at.

I just love what she does to people, how she turns them into objects. When you see an Annie Leibovitz picture, it’s like an article about the person, but you have to fill in words.
