She Strolled By
Wed ,04/06/2008I was shooting photos of the bench (I never managed to capture the bench and hog-tie it) when I saw this young lady strolling along. I quickly adjusted for the desired depth of field and shutter speed then waited for the moment. Click.
A Moment in Photographic History:
In 1854, James Winter left his wife and three children in Tasmania to visit relatives in England. When he returned to Tasmania, he brought with him an album of photographs given to him by his brother as a remembrance of the trip. Upon his death, the album was given to his oldest son Henry who subsequently moved to New Zealand with the album. The album has been handed down through the generations and is still in New Zealand. A treasured relic of times past.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
Our best shoots are placed in our memory. They are simply there, somewhere .. and they represent our private archive… Nobody can touch .. nobody can see.
