A Moment in Photographic History:
In 1879 in Austria Karl Klic (Klic is a good photographic name) invented photogravure mechanical printing. Photogravure uses a copper plate etched to hold ink in the dark areas of the photograph. It is still considered to be one of the finest printing processes.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
You’ve got to push yourself harder. You’ve got to start looking for pictures nobody else could take. You’ve got to take the tools you have and probe deeper. – William Albert Allard
