A Photographic Quote of Note:
Nothing is ever the same twice because everything is always gone forever, and yet each moment has infinite photographic possibilities.

Nice shot Michael, I like different lines in your photo, curve on top and bridge on middel (strike line) also nice reflection on bottom. well done
The desolate bridge. Beautiful! I love wooden foot bridges like that. Lovely perspective as well.
The lines of the bridge “breaking” the landscape really makes the picture for me…I’m always surprised by the b&w processing on this kind of images (Where colour is a natural thing) and how well it works, giving a special kind of atmosphere to the landscape.
like the curve of the mountain, smooths out the picture
that is one lonely bridge out there in the woods … i like the rustic design
Beautiful composition. I like that the straight lines of the bridge are in opposition to the curved mountains. Very nice conversion!
Your black and white photos make me always think back to times gone by. I think of my parents, what were they doing, I wonder at the time in history when this bridge was being built. It was probably built last year. Har har.
One thing for sure, this bridge was built to last. I wonder who made it. I love the random, wild freedom of the rushes/weeds and the man made marching shadows of the bridge itself. Very lovely.
i like the B&W tone here. very cool.
Lovely black and white – I love bridges of all kinds in photos – but this definitely looks out in the wilds and alone! I am possibly wrong because we know in Canada that we can just go out of the suburbs into beautiful scenery like this in no time at all! Great composition Michael – the tonal range is excellent!
PS. Thank you for posting on my blog whilst I was AWOL
I like the absence of metal in the bridge. Feels like it fits right in with the landscape.
a solid wood bridge, for a beautifull walk
