CAL
A Moment in Photographic History:
Lithuanian photographer Izis (Israel Bidermanas) died on May 16, 1980. He left his Hebrew language school at age 13 to be apprenticed to a photographer. After receiving his training, he wandered the country and photographed. In 1931 he arrived in Paris penniless and without any passport or other papers, and not speaking a single word of French.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
When I have a camera in my hand, I know no fear.

The detail on the wood is beautiful, so are the cracks. Looks like the nails went long after CAL got there
Lovely!

Great detail. Cal must have passed in an auto accident. Sad image but I like it.

Nice processing and great detail. Could this have been a cross?
