A Moment in Photographic History:
Francis Bedford died May 15, 1894. Before that he was known for architectural photographs, many of which were for use with a stereoscope. In 1862, Bedford was appointed by Queen Victoria to tour the Middle East with the Prince of Wales. In 1853, Bedford was one of the of the Photographic Society.
