Christine was so smart that she knew that Frozen in Time was Athabasca Falls just west of Jasper. So Christine, where is this, you smarty pants?

A Photographic Quote of Note:
The pictures a mature photographer takes are interpretations of the subject in terms of the photographer’s own personality and interests. If he has inventiveness, photography can be completely rediscovered in his own way.

That’s a pretty amazing scene. Great shot.
What a beautiful scene! I like the colours contrast!
You’ve manage to create a great atmosphere with this photo. A liquid frozen moment …
Beautiful pic, love the water.
I’m afraid to say my pants aren’t very smart.
Okay first of all, this is a formidable question, for one because it’s taken in the wintertime when it’s hard to see all flow, and for two because it’s a lot more zoomed in so I can’t easily see the land around it. At first I guess Sunwapta, but it just isn’t so. I cry uncle. Uncle! What fall is that and how can I get there?
Great shot, by the way.
Lovely.
You can almost hear the water pouring down on the level below.
Nice one.
Raw beauty. Takes me back to a land I once new quite like that. I’m glad to have found your site.. absolutely love landscape and you have some really beautiful shots here.
