A Moment in Photographic History:
United Statesian photojournalist/portraitist Mary Ellen Mark was born March 20, 1940 in Philadelphia.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
The difficulty with color is to go beyond the fact that it’s color – to have it be not just a colorful picture but really be a picture about something. It’s difficult. So often color gets caught up in color, and it becomes merly decorative. Some photographers use [ it ] brilliantly to make visual statements combining color and content; otherwise it is empty.

Es una imagen impresionante. Parece sacada de una película de la saga de Star Wars. Muy buen trabajo. Saludos.
Awesome! such a clever boy!
very nice image – I like the atmosphere and the colors
Very impressive image. Great job!
I like this. It looks like it is through a frozen windo or a collage of two photos.
This is what happens when you don’t really read very carefully. I thought Oswegan said it looked like a frozen wino. I went back and looked at the photo to see if he looked like a wino and thought he didn’t. Just like a young Emperor.
Beautiful image, was it through a frozen window?
That’s an unusual but excellent image, Michael. I like it. Congrats on your new site.
Nice work with this. Right out of a story book!
all hail the king! pretty cool snow effects … nicely done
Was looking through your archives and discovered this unusual one. I love the texture and the vagueness…. leaves one with a bit of mystery.
