Etienne Jules Marley, born March 5, 1830, invented the chronophotograph from which modern cinematography was developed. In 1894 Marey invented a slow motion camera which shot 700 pictures per minute.

Nice shot – I like how dirty the snow is. It makes it seem sinister for some reason.
