A Moment in Photographic History:
Dutch photographer Emmy Andriesse died February 20, 1953. She risked her life during World War Two when, as a member of the Underground Camera Group, she illegally documented the terrible devastation suffered by the people and city of Amsterdam in 1944 and 1945.
